Rochester Greek Festival Sponsored Charities

For our 2010 Festival we will choose 2 new additional charities to add to our Philanthropy Program!

Since its inception, the Greek Festival Philanthropy Program has distributed over $76,500 to local Rochester charities. The 2009 designated charities were Bethel Express and Camp Daydreams. They shared $5,000 in addition to voluntary admission fees collected at the entrances and food lines on Friday evening; and, our previous charities received $1,000. This year we distributed $14,000 to our recipients which included: Bethel Express, Camp Daydreams, The Epilepsy Foundation; Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester; Camp Good Days & Special Times Women's Oncology Program; Christopher's Challenge; CURE Childhood Cancer Association; Golisano Children's Hospital; Hope Lodge-American Cancer Society; and, Make a Wish Foundation and Daystar.
